A run of community events across one summer: a Christmas street festival, a carols night and a sports day. Music, dancing, costumes and a lot of happy kids.

Events like these are about the crowd as much as the stage, so I move through it, catching the energy from every angle.

A saxophonist and drummer play to a crowd in the street People dance arm in arm in the middle of the street Spider-Man in a Santa hat strikes a pose on the road Spider-Man in a Santa hat clings to a stair railing Santa waves from his sleigh throne A cheerleader poses with a rugby league mascot Painted icons and wooden crosses on a market stall A church lit up at dusk above the crowd Elves dance on stage in front of seated children Elves flip and dance on stage at a carols night Kids cheer as snow sprays over the crowd Players in purple jerseys walk off the field together A player sprints with the ball at a community sports day
